A Passion for Exploring The Alps

Lodging in family inns, enjoying the renowned hospitality of the Swiss and Austrian innkeepers, we day-hike the surrounding mountains and valleys. We don’t move from village to village each day, but relax in one village in a charming inn for six nights before moving to the second village of our trip. Extended stays in family inns allow you to experience the full depth of an area and truly embrace the Swiss and Austrian way of life. You will truly feel this is your home away from home.

For 2010 we offer seven Switzerland Hiking Tours of 12 nights/13 days; and two Austria Hiking Tours of 12 nights/ 13 days. While most guests do both villages of our trips 6 nights in the first village and 6 nights in the second village, a one village option is offered 6 nights/ 7 days. Not sure if our Alps hiking vacation is too much for you or not enough? Don’t worry. We offer two hikes each day from which you may choose a moderate hike or a more strenuous hike. For trip specifics please click on “What to Expect” for details.
